Deborah B. Sorgi, Ed.D.
Founder, Chair, Director & President
Dr. Sorgi is a C-Suite executive with over four decades of experience in sales, marketing, and operations in educational publishing. She is also a former elementary school teacher, reading specialist, and college professor. She is the Founder, Chair, Director & President of Literacy Access Fund, a 501(c)(3), tax-exempt organization that grants financial support to organizations in need of early literacy resources.
Chief Financial Officer
Brian has a progressive career in the equipment finance industry. He has served organizations with up to $1.5 billion in assets and $400 million in annual sales. He is a senior-level financial professional with 20 years of experience, 15 of which have been in supervisory roles.
Director of Grants Development
John has over thirty years of experience as a grant writer, administrator, and consultant. He has raised $25 million dollars in grant funding for school districts, universities, hospitals, and other nonprofit organizations, which includes a $1.5 million 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant for the Hoboken, New Jersey School District.
Lauren heads all areas of marketing for Literacy Access Fund. Lauren has a Bachelor of Arts in Business, with a concentration in Marketing, and a Masters of Science in Education in Reading/Writing/Literacy. She also holds teaching certifications in Elementary Education K-6, Middle School Math 7-9, and Reading Specialist K-12. Her background in teaching and her passion for promoting early literacy is illustrated in her marketing efforts for Literacy Access Fund.
